Ralph, Charles, Paul . . . and Larry. The Floaters from Detroit and their 1977 self-titled LP 'THE FLOATERS'. Ten minutes of R&B silky-smoothness I can still remember some women-folk going completely nuts over (and kids groaning in misery) at various childhood picnics and beach barbecues when this song came on. I learned early the value of boxed wine from songs like this (and was reminded again, years later, with "Freebird"). It couldn't be kicked over when people got up to dance.
