A little psychedelic rock from Rare Earth. "I Know (I'm Losing You)" is from the 1970 LP 'ECOLOGY' and "Voodoo Celebration" is a Hardway Brothers re-edit of Rare Earth's "I Just Want To Celebrate" from the 'POINTLESS ALLSTARS - NO SLEEP TILL BEDMO' EP.

Can never seem to get enough Eagles re-edits. "Dub Shoes" is a Rove Dogs re-edit of "Those Shoes" from the Eagles 1979 LP "THE LONG RUN'. The re-edit is from the 'SMALL TIME CUTS VOL. 1' EP. ♥ it.

More re-edit awesomeness from the 'TRY TO FIND ME VOL. 1' EP on Golf Channel. "Make Dance" is a re-edit of "Flash Back" by Chic, originally from the 1981 LP 'TAKE IT OFF', and "Sir Mr Doctor To You" is a re-edit of "Dr. Love" by J.C. Barreto.

A bit of a surprise (a surprise for me, anyway) to discover that Captain Hands is also Daedelus (Alfred Alfred Darlington), who's probably more widely recognized for his eccentric, experimental brand of down-tempo. "Dispel Disco" came out early this year on Moxie.

I've been going back and listening to a lot of music from the Underdog Edits series, and this edit of "Casanova Brown" especially; Gloria Gaynor "sipping on a little wine, checking things out" and about to lose all sense of composure. "Casanova Brown" is from 'UNDERDOG EDITS VOL. 5'. I'll have to post more of these.

It took me a while to figure out who re-mixed / edited "Backwards Is The Best Way Forward, Baby". I'd been listening to the Gloria Gaynor Underdog edit and was sure I'd heard another equally as good. "Backwards Is The Best Way Forward, Baby" a re-edit of "(If You Want It) Do It Yourself" from the Phantom Slasher (Dan Tyler and Conrad McDonnell/Idjut Boys) 'GRUBLE' LP that came out a few years ago.

thanks for all of these! the new golf channel 12" (the one with "liza" & "penny") is also pretty mind-blowing.
