Big-bass and piano-driven sweetness from the 'INTENSIVE SPOT' EP on Four Roses. Gorgeous.
Bocca Grande - Overdose [zsh]
More techno moodiness I've been listening to lately from Superpitcher (Aksel Schaufler) and the CD sampler 'POPULAR SONGS' on Kompakt, released a few years ago.
Superpitcher - Mushroom Angels (The Modernist Mashed Up Mix) [zsh]
Still loving this re-edit of "Mustapha Dance", the B-side of the Clash's 1982 12" classic "Rock The Casbah", on Better Days Records by mystery man Brad Shitt, updating the already serious party-starter with some sax bits and dose of cowbell for two minutes of added awesomeness over the original, and a party out of bounds in my cube.
Brad Shitt - Casbah Breakdown [zsh]
The tenth volume and crowning piece in the venerable Rvng Of The Nrds series of edits goes to Pilooski with a 10-minute burner of a re-edit of reggae / gospel artist Nora Dean's mesmeric "Ay Ay Ay". 10/10.
