Classic track...though if anyone ever comes across the full length 1977 American disco mix of the track please post a link! Apparently Meck was digging through the crates when he came across a copy and this is what inspired him to do a remix in 2006 which got to number one here in the UK...sometimes I like this remix and other times its a little too "housey" for me (in the crass commercial sense not the "Warehouse" sense).
Psst...if anyone else wants to indulge in a full on Leo Sayer "guilty pleasure" moment...check out this link to a three CD bonanza of A's & B sides..there be gold amongst the MOR/AOR crap.
@the saucer people. OHHHMG. I can't believe you found the 12" ... I haven't even checked the link yet because I've momentarily gone blind ... oh joy, it still works ! thank you !
Nope...still all quiet on the blog front! Now I am your patient blog reader waiting for your return!
Hey, glad you liked the Leo Sayer 12 inch, it is the least I could do for all the amazing music this blog has turned me onto!
On your return a 320 rip of Justin Van Der Volgen's "Try To Find Me - Vol.1 [Golf Channel Recordings Channel-003 USA 2008]" would be splendid if you have it....I know you posted a 225kbps rip of it....I have a decent rip of 'Hard To Find Vol2' on Golf Channel, a mix CD by Mr JVDV himself which is frankly too brilliant for its own good if you or anyone is interested jackamo23ATgmailcom

downloaded 'em and they seem fine...I used the megaupload link...don't worry, I won't tell if you wont!
I found a decent clean 320 MP3 rip of the 1977 'disco version' of Leo Sayer's Thunder In My Heart and instantly thought of 'Now I'm Your Blog'!
Seems it was only released on promo according to Discogs though I would not stake my life on this.
Anyway, I have uploaded it to Mediafire so you or anyone else for that matter are more than welcome to grab it.

The break in the track is pretty cool, ripe for a proper disco re-edit me'thinks, if only Rub'N'Tug got their sleazy cosmic discoid hands on it!
Wow...just happened across you while looking for something. What a great blog. Now you are my blog!
I'm missing my blog! :)
